The CSG Foundation supported an international gathering of fire service leaders in Prague.
On May 14–15, 2025, Prague hosted an important international event – the 57th meeting of the Council of the Federation of European Fire Officers (FEU). This year, the prestigious forum focused on the use of data and information technology in the field of fire protection, and the CSG Foundation provided financial support for the event. Why did we choose to support this initiative?
Supporting Safety and Innovation
The CSG Foundation has long supported projects that contribute to the safety of all of us. Today, fire and rescue services face new challenges – from climate change to increasingly complex interventions in urban environments. The use of data, digitalization, and technological innovation are key tools for increasing the efficiency and preparedness of these services.
International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange
The FEU meeting brings together senior representatives of fire and rescue services from more than twenty European countries. It enables experience sharing, unification of professional standards, and coordination of education – precisely the areas where cross-border cooperation has the greatest impact. The CSG Foundation views supporting this platform as an investment in a safer and higher-quality Europe.
Honoring the Work of Firefighting Professionals
Supporting the event is also a gesture of respect and appreciation for the work of thousands of professionals in fire protection and emergency services. Their commitment – often under the most demanding conditions – deserves not only admiration but also tangible support in the development of their expertise and the tools they use.
